Mexico Activities

In Mexico my parents gave me a kite for my birthday so we flew my new kite on the beach. We also went sea kayaking and snorkeling. My favorite was sea kayaking with Grandpa John. We played volley ball in the pool and on the sand. Elliot liked building sand race car courses for his Lego guys.

Turning 13 in Mexico

I was privileged with the opportunity to turn 13 in Mexico. We went to a dinner show and had a wonderful dinner the staff of the restaurant came out and sang happy birthday and presented me with a beautiful and delicious cake. Thank you Grandpa John for making my birthday so special!

Our resort in Mexico

This week our Grandpa took us on a trip to Mexico, we all had a fantastic vacation. We stayed at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda, there was a very large pool and a wonderful beach. I enjoyed every minute of our time spent there! Here are some pictures of our beautiful resort.

Visiting the Capitol

This week we went to the Capitol building on legislative day to meet our senator and tour the building. Our Capitol is filled with beautiful architecture, we also rode the elevator all the way to the top of the building. From the top of the building you can see all of Lincoln.

Sledding and Ice Skating

Yesterday we went sledding at a state park. We had a lot of fun, our sled with metal runners went the fastest. Afterward we went ice skating and Elliot was the fastest.

My Birthday Brunch

Yesterday was my 13th Birthday party. We ate breakfast casserole, fruit salad, and cheesecake with strawberry topping. Everyone brought a book recommendation to share. We watched two I Love Lucy episodes, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Then we played a game electronic monopoly, and my friend Becca won!

Crocheting in the car

Yesterday we drove halfway to Kansas city to pick my cousin up for my birthday party today. I enjoyed working on my Baby Cardigan and Rachael made mini sea creatures (shells, Oysters, and fishes).

Embroidered Roses

Yesterday I started and finished a heart of pink roses. I think I'm going to frame it in my room. I used 3mm ribbon and embroidery floss.

Embroidered Flowers at craft club

This week I made ribbon embroidered flowers with Becca, Hannah, and Hannah at craft club. We made roses, and Becca made fall napkins with pumpkins and leaves on it.

SuperBowl party with our friends

This Sunday we had some friends over for a Superbowl party. It was a lot of fun we enjoyed eating mini sub sandwiches and lots of nacho cheese! I liked playing go fish and old maid with Jakob. Dad and Elliot were thrilled about how the game turned out. GO STEELERS!!!!
