A funny winter poem
The Abominable Snowman
by: Ogden Nash
I've never seen an abominable snowman,
I'm hoping not to see one
I'm also hoping if I do
That it will be a wee one

Sammy's favorite dog treat recipe
I made these dog treats as Christmas presents for all of our family's four legged best friends! They were a big hit, I'm glad that I found this simple and wholesome recipe.

Rug shopping
Yesterday mom and I visited 5 stores looking for a rug to match my bedroom. We found at least one we liked at every store. We decided on a 5' by 8' paisley rug. We got a really good deal, the rug was usually 450 dollars but we got the last one for 181 dollars! The rug is brown and black then at the far side of the rug there is colorful paisley. Sammy think the rug is a great resting spot. Mom and I also found a comforter set for half price that matched my room perfectly. This morning dad and I finished painting my yarn trunk dark brown, it looks very nice too. While we were rug shopping my amazing dad ripped up all of the blue carpet. Underneath the carpet is beautiful honey colored wood. Thanks Dad! Now my room is all most completely finished all that is needed is new curtains and pictures on the walls!
