The New Skyfari

Today we went to the zoo and rode on the new skyfari! The skyfari is like a ski lift but it goes a lot slower. You go over the elephants, giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs, a few penguins, a small lake (with fish and swans), the seals, and the garden of life! These are all pictures from the skyfari.

Yard Work

This weekend we finished a lot of yard work. Our hedge is trimmed so there is only green on top. We mulched underneath the bush, planted some hostas, and laid some sod on the other side of the bush. I really like the way it turned out!

New Pets

Last week I purchased two female pet mice. I like them a lot! I haven't named them yet (Dad has he calls them chocolate mousse and marble). They both thoroughly enjoy the wheel.

Craft Hope

Making Pies

Over the weekend I had a lot of fun making 2 lattice top cherry pies and a Lemonade Cheesecake Pie too. We delivered all three of the pies to some of our friends.

Put-Put with Grandpa

Grandpa and Grandma came up this weekend to see my last volley ball game! Later on that day we played put-put together. All five of us got a hole in one! When you get a hole in one you are announced on the speaker and then you get the Orange Ball. We had one to many Orange balls.

Volley Ball

Last week was our last Volley Ball game for the spring season. I played YMCA Volley ball with some of my friends and mom was the coach! Here are some pictures of our last game and the party afterward.

Feild Day

This week Elliot really enjoyed participating in a Homeschool field day event. He got 1st place in the 100 meter dash! He had fun doing long jump too.

This season Elliot has been playing soccer. I think that he has really improved a lot!

Neale Woods

This weekend for mothers day mom wanted to go on a hike, so that's what we did. We went to Neale woods nature center. I loved all of the beautiful trees and wildflowers. We also got to see a perfect view of Omaha from way up on the bluffs.

Discovery Picnic

We had a lot of fun this year at our discovery picnic! We enjoyed spending time with friends and the weather was perfect (the rain passed over).

New Life

This Spring we have been enjoying watching a nest of three baby birds. Mommy robin has been taking good care of them!
