It's so nice to have a yard! These lovely flowers are just growing and blooming, without being planted. The tall pink and white flowers are called bouncing bets, the short blue flowers are called Venus's looking glass (weird name!) and the short white flowers are unknown. They weren't in my New England wildflower book. I'm enjoying their scent and beauty very much.

Last week Elliot did the polar bear plunge. :) Afterward, I took a video of him telling me all about his experiences in catching crabs and starfish on this rock mass. This video for some reason is refusing to download. :( I'll post pictures instead.

P.S It was very cold! I was in a fleece coat, long-sleeve shirt, raincoat, ski socks and boots. I was still cold! Through all of that. My polar bear plunge will be in.....July! :) just kidding

The powerful ocean

Here is a video of the ocean hitting the rocks at Peaks Island. This was my other favorite place. :)

Peaks Island

 We went to Peaks Island again this year. It was amazing. I love it there!

One of my favorite places there was a shaded area with tons of moss, it was soo thick it felt like carpet! Below is a picture of me enjoying the moss forest. :)

Riding bikes through this island is beyond wonderful! I love the feeling of sea air blowing through my hair and across my face. It smells so good! So grateful God created the ocean and the beautiful coast of Maine.
