• Almost done with school!!! Three more weeks of biology class left, three more chapters of history left, finishing up volleyball trainings and clinics this month, three more weeks of choir rehearsals before the performance. Everything is finishing up :)

• Reading The Help. A excellent book, hard topic but a very good book. The movie is great too!
• Disney world choir trip next week!!!!!!!!! Soooo excited. We leave on Tuesday morning and return on Saturday night. This will be my first high school trip!
• My beautiful pair of Keds that we ordered arrived in the mail last night. I am thrilled! They're such a pretty pair of shoes. I wore them out to walk Sammy this morning, for about 15 minutes, and now I have dime size pussing blisters on both my ankles. :'( So disappointed! :(
• Thursday I did my school on the rooftop deck hoping to get a nice tan (for the banquet Friday night) and enjoying the sun. Four hours later I come inside and realize I've got a terrible terrible sunburn and look like a lobster! Wow. I feel pathetic
• The basketball banquet was Friday :) I went as a lobster :(
• I asked mom to buy a bag of lemons (last Monday, the 2nd) because I wanted to make some lemon bread. Whats today? The 14th! I still have not made that lemon bread. :/
• My volleyball friend is running a half marathon in the fall...she said she doesn't want to run it alone. Talk about a guilt trip! I haven't fully committed yet to running it too, I'm still trying to stay on the fence about it. Why a half marathon? Why not a 5k?
  
• I got my Whole Living magazine in the mail on Monday and today I got my Real Simple magazine. Yeah! I love both those magazines. Whole living had a wonderful article about how to style your hair without heat styling (using straighteners, curling irons), very cool article! Real Simple had an article on lemon desserts. Seriously?! I must be destined to make that lemon bread sometime soon.
• Wishing I would get my camera out to take pictures more often. I guess I spend my free time reading instead.
• Grandpa is renting a room at a resort in Galveston for the week. I'll be in Disney world....kind of bummed that its on the same week but not really cause Disney world beats Galveston any day. Hands down!
• Going to Maine in 24 approx. days. Wow! I'm really looking forward to my Maine bedroom but it'll be a bummer to be away from friends for awhile. Come visit us!
• I'm reading through the bible in a year, its hard to stay disciplined to reading it but its a good disciple for me.
• Working on memorizing songs from choir....struggling with Hotaru Koi (its in Japanese..watch the video. That is seriously how fast it is!). It's definitely a hard one!
