my painting

So I was listening to this Norah Jones song called "Painter Song" very good song! It inspired me to paint a picture. :) Imagine that?! So, I cut open a paper whole foods bag and duct taped (probably not a good idea) it to the wall, and go out my three purple paint samples (that I bought for my room) and my oil pastels and painted a random picture. It was fun. :) I got paint on my toes, which then transferred onto the wood floor and I put the oil pastels on my bed and believe it or not the oil color got onto my sheets. Oh well. I'll worry about that later.
I wrote "He who promised is faithful" in white pastel across the top of my painting. You can't read it cause it's backwards in this picture :/ sorry about that! I got that phrase from Hebrews 10:23 where The Bible says Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful I was reminded of that verse in Bible study this morning while I was mindlessly flipping through the new testament and I had this verse underlined in pink and highlighted in blue. That'll wake you up! During worship today we sang How Deep a fathers love for us. Such a wonderful song! When the lyrics said "I will not boast in anything, no gifts, no power, no wisdom, but I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection" Once again I was reminded of He who promised is faithful. He is all we have to boast in and what a great promise he has given us. :)
Now I will tell you what my picture is of. On the right side there is a lot of different flower types in all different colors. The left side is the mountain scape which then fades into rolling green hills with a patch of blue flowers. The hills then fade into a beach, with a palm tree and a flying kite with whales in the surf. In the right top corner is the sun, big and orange. :)
